Every year I seem to sit down and write out my goals.
And it seems like every year I never really accomplish the goals on my list.
Why? Because I didnt have the belief behind it to back it up. I didnt get in the feeling of what it FELT like to actually accomplish those goals. I just threw things on paper that would be “cool” to accomplish.
This year is DIFFERENT. My mindset mentor @lauren_francois had me do my goals on a white board with sticky notes (which I have never done). And not just the big goals BUT also smaller projects/steps I can take to help me achieve that goal. AND THEN taking it a step farther, writing out how I will FEEL when I accomplish that goal. And getting in that feeling (I have never done this).
I cant tell you how different it feels writing out your goals this way. Im new to this whole “get in the feeling” of what you want activity. But I can tell you already I feel like Im living in the energy of achieving those goals on my board.
And you bet your butt I’m believing it will happen because for me that was the hardest part of this journey….uncovering the negative stories/beliefs that were keeping me stuck, then writing a new belief that serves my desires and getting in the feeling of that belief. Actually feeling it in your body (yea hard I know). Then after that rewriting a new affirmation that aligns with that belief.
I feel like such a different person going into this year than I did last year. I contribute it to the work I have been doing to make myself a priority and creating simple self care habits that fit into my life (AKA MY Me First Method course) & the last 6 months I have stepped outta of my comfort zone and invested in 2 different 1:1 mentors to help me to dig deeper.
