Moms we already put enough mom guilt on ourselves I dont know why we feel the need to put these kinds of judgements & mom shame on others and ourselves too.
.
My motto from all along has been do what works best for YOU AND BABY. I know for me I take alittle bit of everything and make it my own. I do what works for me in that situation. We arent perfect and we have stumbled many times. But the important thing is we get back up and keep trying.
.
I remember with gray doing all the “wrong” things (said some books). We coslept and then he napped on my chest in the afternoons until he was like 6 months old. He slept in our bed until he was 7 months old. Getting him to sleep in his crib was ROUGH. We tried the cry it out, lay on the floor, all the things.

.
And you know what it all worked in its own time. Parker pretty much slept trained herself if thats a thing, but she wouldnt take a bottle to save her life. Neither wrong or right. They just WERE.
.
So mama if you are feeling the guilt, shame and confusion of trying to do it “RIGHT,” let me take the pressure off you….there is no right. There is just what is right now. And you need to do whats best for you and your baby right now.
.
They wont go to kindergarten sucking a paci. They will start sleeping through the night. They will eventually eat really food. They wont go to college still sleeping in your bed. Lol
.
So do whats right for you right now. Sending much love to you in those early stages of baby. Im here for support and know you will get through this and you will sleep again!
